Destruction Looms! (There's a Star Wars CCG release!)

by: Ben Berry -
More On: Star Wars Galaxies

The title for this story makes me feel like a writer for either the National Enquirer trying to scare the readers, or National Geographic, talking about very powerful weaving machines in some 3rd world country.

I used to play Star Wars: Galaxies. In fact, I got so into that damn game that I had to quit MMOing for a while. It didn't cost me a marriage or a house, but it certainly wasn't healthy for me at that time in my life. When it comes to Star Wars I don't know a lot of control. (A prime example is the 3 shelves of Star Wars legos including a Star Destroyer just since Christmas). And this is even before you could start as a Jedi, but instead you had to master 3 skill trees

When I played they didn't have a built in CCG. While I've never really played a CCG other than at PAX to try on a couple of them. On top of the release there's also a free 2 week trial to Galaxies, so I may have to give the game another try, and perhaps the CCG.
