More On: Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters
You knew that there would be a video game to coincide with the Green Lantern movie and here's that announcement. Warner Bros. announced that Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters will be out for the summer of 2011 and be inspired by the film.

One of the challenges with a Green Lantern game is that GL's power is based on his imagination and he can create pretty much anything as long as the ring has power. Of course, you're going to have to do some limiting of what can be constructed and so forth but we'll see how Warner's does with this IP.

If they can make a great Batman game, there's hope for a good Green Lantern game. Double Helix has a big task ahead of them though but we got a while before the game hits the store shelves.

Burbank, Calif. – July 23, 2010 – Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today announced Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters an action-adventure title that will be available in conjunction with Warner Bros.
