That's the brand new high score by John McAllister as he broke the "unbreakable" Asteroids record that withstood 28 years. The previous record score was 41,336,440. Since he can't pause or anything, he just hoped he didn't die too many times while taking breaks but he racked up enough extra lives that dying a few times didn't mean anything. It took him over three days to do it so he had to stay up for a very, very long time while maneuvering around the floating bits of rock and avoiding the UFOs. That's a pretty damn impressive record.

I have my own Asteroids record as I beat Dave Gamble's score a long time ago. It only took him about five years but he finally paid up on and gave me the mouse pad below.
